Medical Conditions May Cause Flare-ups
Coming down with a cold or suffering through allergies this spring may be bad enough. Making matters worse, these conditions also cause rosacea flare-ups in many individuals, according to a recent survey on rosacea and other medical conditions by the National Rosacea Society.

Unlike most disorders, rosacea tends to affect men and women somewhat differently. According to a National Rosacea Society patient survey on the pattern of rosacea symptoms, women are more likely to experience symptoms on the cheeks and chin while men are more commonly affected on the nose.
